This message is intended for Florida residents and those considering moving to Florida.

On January 29 we will have the opportunity to vote in Amendment 1. Voting for Amendment 1 will guarantee reduced homeownership taxation in 2 ways.

First, the homestead exemption will double from the current $25,000 to $50,000. Second, ALL the tax benefit/savings you have accumulated over the years due to the “Save Our Homes” program will become portable. This means you can move to any home and bring with you the tax savings grandfathered into your old home.
